Welcome to the Collection

The collection of the Vitra Design Museum comprises significant holdings of furniture design, lamps, and textiles, as well as the archives and estates of designers like Charles and Ray Eames, Anton Lorenz, Alexander Girard, Verner Panton, and Hella Jongerius. They form the basis of many exhibitions, publications and research projects. In the Online Collection you will not only find detailed information on selected objects, but also explanatory texts and images, biographies of key designers, as well as texts on the history of important furniture manufacturers.
