Anne-Sophie Oberkrome is a designer currently living and working in Berlin. She studied product design at the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (HfG). During her studies she interned at Studio Werner Aisslinger and started working as a freelance designer at Bureau Kilian Schindler, for whom she still works today. After graduating in 2019 she co-founded the Bio Design Lab at HfG Karlsruhe - a hybrid platform that exists in both digital and physical space. She is currently collaborating in various working constellations. Among others, she is part of FAN, a multidisciplinary collective formed by 11 artists and designers. In her work she investigates contemporary developments and local phenomena for example by observing the constant progress at the interface between analog and digital. With intuitive and formal gestures, she tries to transfer these into objects of everyday life.
