Giorgio Ceretti Born 5 March 1932 Turin, Italy Pietro Derossi Born 3 August 1933 Turin, Italy Died 5 September 2025 Barone Canavese, Italy Riccardo Rosso Born 1941 Turin, Italy Giorgio Ceretti, Pietro Derossi and Riccardo Rosso were Italian architects and designers and key figures in the experimental design scene of the 1960s and 1970s. After graduating in architecture from the Politecnico di Torino, they worked in interior design and furniture projects. Their interiors for the Piper Club in Turin (1966) and L’Altro Mondo in Rimini (1967) shaped Italian nightlife. For Gufram they designed, among others, the Cubicolo side table (1966), the Puffo stool (1968), the Torneraj armchair (1969) and the Pratone seating element (1970). In 1971 they founded Gruppo Strum with Carlo Gianmarco and Maurizio Vogliazzo. In 1972 they participated in the exhibition "Italy. The New Domestic Landscape" at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and designed Fantico. Further works include Wimbledon (1974), T’aspetta (1975) and a modular exhibition system for the SAMIA fair in Turin (1976).
